University of Notre Dame Football, It’s that time of year Again

August 19th, 2011 by Scottish B&B

This coming weekend August 19 and 20, the Notre Dame students will be moving into their dorms for the first time if they are Freshmen or returning if a upper class student.  It is the sign that summer is almost over and the first Notre Dame football game is just around the corner.  Notre Dame’s  first football game  is on Saturday, September 3, (Labor Day weekend) against Southern Florida at 3:30 PM Eastern time in the afternoon.  The Scottish Bed and Breakfast still has some guestrooms available for the Notre Dame football season.  We do not raise our rates for the games, but have a two-night  minimum.  If you are looking for the PERFECT place to stay where you can escape the hub bub of crowded restaurants and long lines before and after the game, the Scottish Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay.  You can come back to the Scottish Bed and Breakfast and just relax by the indoor pool after a long day of walking Notre Dame campus.  One of the things our ND fan enjoys is hearing the band play before the game, a ND tradition.  A hearty homemade breakfast served each morning on game day will give you the energy you will need to walk the campus.  We will share with you the short cut to Notre Dame with no traffic, only 25 minutes south of campus
