A tradition since 1999, Amish Acres New Year’s Eve Celebration includes a Threshers Dinner in the old barn restaurant, followed by an evening’s entertainment in The Round Barn Theatre. This year it’s the final performance of “Shrek – The Musical,” which has garnered rave reviews.
Following the show, the audience is invited back to the dining room, where they are treated to a buffet of finger foods, champagne, punch, chocolate, and many other delightful indulgences.
At 11pm, the “Shrek – The Musical” cast will perform again: an hour long, delightfully fun and funny cabaret act. At 12pm, the sounds of Auld Lang Syne will fill the air and the assembled cast and guests will don coats and head outside for a sparkling display of fireworks over Nappanee – beautiful!
