Captain America's 75th AnniversaryCome celebrate Captain America’s 75th Anniversary at the Elkhart Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum, with special guest Allen Bellman, the last surviving artist to draw Captain America during WWII – May 14th, 2016!

Captain America, that red, white, and blue Sentinel of Liberty first appeared back in March, 1941 in Captain America Comics #1 from Timely Comics. Created by legendary comic book artists Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, the character was designed as a patriotic super-soldier fighting the Axis powers of World War II.

Elkhart's historic Lerner TheatreCatching some good entertainment is a great way to pass the time as we wait for warmer weather. Elkhart’s historic Lerner Theatre has plenty of that on tap throughout 2015 and beyond!

The Lerner Theatre has been on the corner of Franklin and Main Streets in downtown Elkhart, Indiana since November 24, 1924. Of course, it has seen lots of ups and downs since the grand opening – vaudeville, big band, the innovation of movies.
